Project Overview:

• Fully bespoke – Design, build, and project manage bespoke garden room
• 6.5m x  4.8m + total 31.2m2 – External height of 3m & Storeroom 1.25m x 4.8m, with two hidden cladded doors to the left-hand sid elevatin
• Design Basis: Fully bespoke – Unique design – Primary Use: Multi-functional -Home office- Lounge – Gym – Shower, Toilet and wetroom -Integrated storage both Internal and external

1. Structural Design:

• Configuration: Premier design
• Besoke Feature: No Canopy – Extra height

2. Exterior Finishes:

• Cladding: Shou sugi ban Charred wood cladding to all sides
• Glazing:
  • One set of aluminium leaf slimline bifold doors
• 2 x Roof light
• Interior Specifications:
• Flooring: Engineered Oak
• Walls: Plastered and painted finish
• Dual air conditioning
• Lighting:
  • Interior: Downlights and multiple wall lights with multiple double sockets
  • Exterior: 4 x Chrome up/downlights

3. Specialised Features:

• • Connectivity: Full hard-wired network
  • Integrated storage with hidden doors in the cladding
  • Internal integrated hidden storage in reclaimed wood cladding throughout

  • Exterior Landscaping:
  • This was one of the most complex projects we have undertaken as planning was only granted because the room would be sunken. There was no side or rear access, and with access only through the house, we had to design and erect specialist scaffolding up and over a three story London townhouse, we had to excavate 30 skip loads of soil by hand – Up and over the building and down into skips, we then had to build – retainig walls and add drainainge and this was all next to Trees with Tree preservation orders on them. The garden was then fully landscaped with hard and soft landscaping.

4. Client-Specific Requirements:

• Emphasis on natural light maximisation
• Creation of a versatile space for the family to have a yogo studio, Gym lounge, and home office to relax and work out with a lot of emphasis on hidden integrated storage

Project Outcome: Delivered a luxurious, multifunctional space that seamlessly blends indoor comfort with outdoor living, meeting the family’s needs for a Yoga studio /gym with lots of natural daylight and ample integrated storage.
