Can I have underfloor heating?

Yes, underfloor heating is an option that we provided. However, it is often not necessary. The reason for this is that all of our garden rooms boast excellent heat retention properties already. They are so efficient that this extra level of heating is not usually required. As well as underfloor heating, we offer wall-mounted electric heaters, dual air conditioners/heating, and log burning stoves, so there are plenty of ways to keep your garden room warm all winter long. Do you offer any internal painting services?

Yes, we offer internal painting services for our garden rooms. Our standard interior finishes are painted in a neutral tone, but we can also paint them in any colour of your choice. Our professional team can advise you on the best colour options to match your style and preference. With our painting services, you can achieve the exact look and feel that you want for your garden room. Do you offer a plastered finish?

Yes, we do offer a plastered finish for our garden rooms. A plastered finish can give your garden room a clean and polished look, and can also provide a smooth surface for painting or wallpapering. Our plastered finish is made using high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship, ensuring a long-lasting and seamless finish. If you're interested in a plastered finish for your garden room, simply let us know during the design and consultation stage and we'll be happy to include it in your quote.

What interior finishes do you offer?

All our buildings are supplied as standard with a plastered and painted finish meaning no fuss, no cracking and minimal maintenance. We do, however, offer a range of painted finishes to meet all tastes and our team will be happy to discuss them with you at your site consultation.

Can you install a wood burner?

Yes this is a service we offer but work with several partners or customers preferred partners. We can include fire resistant panels and reinforce the floor, in and around where the wood burner is to be located. In terms of heating, the heat retention properties in all of our insulated garden offices are so efficient that this level of heating would not be required.

Can I install a hot tub or sauna in one of your buildings?

While we can install many features in our garden buildings, hot tubs and saunas are, unfortunately, not available inside the garden rooms. This is because the buildings we build are not designed to withstand excessive humidity. This would cause problems in your garden room and it would not last as long as a result. However, you might be interested in one or our garden spas so you can enjoy your very own sauna and steam room in your garden.

Can I have a toilet in a garden room?

Of course you can! Our garden rooms can be used for a wide range of purposes, and if you would like to have a toilet in your room, we can take care of all the plumbing during the installation. You can even get a shower fitted if you want. If you have any other requests, please ask us about the options available during the consultation stage.

Do you offer plumbing services?

Yes we do, and we work with several partners. This work will need to meet the requirements of the Building Regulations and may mean that you need planning permission. If you need a water supply we’re happy to organise through our specialist partners to chat to your plumber of choice. Just remember that this will need to meet Building Regs and might mean you need to get planning permission.

How do I get the internet/WiFi into my garden room?

WiFi is available as an optional extra on our Signature Range rooms and Bespoke Service, for which we offer two solutions for internet connectivity: Wi-Fi extenders (‘Home Plug’): Simply insert one of the plugs into a wall socket and connect the included patch cable into your home router, then insert the other plug into a wall socket in your garden room.  - This method sends your internet signal through the power network of your home and replicates the home WiFi in your garden room.
