Can I use my building throughout the year?
Our buildings are generally more thermally efficient than an average house. The SIP construction is so well insulated that it will stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter allowing you to use it all year round. They take very little to warm up and consideration is often required to cooling, specifically which you wish to use your building as a gym.
Where do you install garden rooms?
We install our garden rooms across Surrey,London and the home counties.
We offer a range of 2 Hours from our base in KT12
Do you deliver garden rooms to overseas addresses?
No, not as yet – currently only Mainland UK.
Can I live in my garden room?
Yes but this will require a full planning application and not always granted.
Are the insulated garden offices warm enough to use in winter?
Yes, they are truly designed for use 365 days a year no matter what the weather!
All of our buildings are insulated with industry’s leading insulation and double-glazed doors and windows. The insulation is placed into all elements of the building; the floor, the walls and the ceiling to ensure excellent thermal retention.
Where is your showroom located?
We don’t have a dedicated showroom, but we have two rooms at our Directors homes that we can show people around and both are located in Surrey.
We can also showcase around our clients rooms but this requires dates set and permissions.
What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday to Fridays by appointment only.

Do you offer any showroom discounts?
All visitors to our showroom are eligible for a £200 discount against their order.
We offer this discount because we think it incredibly important that you get to see what you are planning on buying and have the opportunity to discuss all of the options available to you. We also understand that time is precious and for some, this can be a lengthy journey.
Can I visit a garden room closer to me than your showroom?
Often yes, through our Friends of clients that are happy to show prospective clients around and w e offer them a Reward Scheme so this is possible.
Can I live in a garden room?
If you would like to live in a garden room, This requires full planning but yes we can design and build your annex, garden annexes with full planning permission, which comply with building regulations.
What areas of the country do you cover?
We are based in Surrey and as a small team work exclusively in the south east of the country. The majority of our work is in Kent, Essex, Middlesex, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Sussex and parts of London. Talk to the team as we cover a wide area.
Do you install overseas?
We are always up for an adventure and would happily see one of our rooms on the moon if we could! There are obviously extra costs of transportation etc to consider but if the numbers work, we’ll be there!
Does a Garden Room add value to your house?
Investing in the right garden room not only makes sure you have a lifetime of use out of it, but also adds value to your house.
Estate Agents base their valuations on the total floor space of habitable accommodation within the boundary of the plot. Because every ITTGR Garden Room comes with a building regulations certificate, it is therefore classed as habitable space.
In 2018 the average cost of property sold in Greater London was £5,131 per square metre. So if you were to build a 20sqm garden room, that would add £102,620 to the value of your house.

What can the studio be used for?
The most popular is a garden office studio but you could use it in any way you would a normal room in your home.
Some examples being a games room, Home office, summerhouse, home gym, home cinema, reception room, movie room, outdoor kitchen, marketing office and suite, hot-tub/sauna room (please ask about waterproofing inside), soundproofing and noise suppressed recording studio options available.
How efficient is the studio in summer and winter?
The power consumption is very very low in the winter. The studio we have created utilises better standards than most new build houses. Unlike most wooden studio offices the density of the Sips insulation in the walls is much higher, this will help you keep cool in the summer house, if you wish to spend your time more frequently in the heated days of the summer we can fit air conditioning either as a stand-alone unit or wall mounted device. What certificates do you supply once the building is finished?
Our studios are fully tested and certificated, a Part P test of the electrical circuits is supplied by our own team. You can use your own electrical professional if they are happy to work with us. Our buildings use the same standards of fire protection which all modern builds are governed by. Our windows are in compliance with Part L of the regulations in dwellings.
What will my building be worth? If I move, can I take it with me?
Our studios are built using very high standards. It is possible to deconstruct the studio however your estate agent will advise that it is a huge asset and focal point of the sale. The cost of relocating would outweigh a new studio when the value added to the property is taken into account. In premium locations, the value added to the property can vastly outweigh the cost of our studio. Estate agents will confirm this. We can always build you a new one.
